The Center for Infectious Disease Research (formerly Seattle BioMed) building is the first speculative research building in the Puget Sound region built specifically to support biomedical research.

CollinsWoerman has also designed lab and administrative space tenant improvements for the institute (53,000 sf), Seattle Children’s Research Institute, and Regional Medical Center (47,000 sf).

This project earned LEED® -CS Silver Certification – the nation's first lab building to receive LEED® certification under the LEED-CS pilot program
