CollinsWoerman was chosen by Group Health to provide strategic planning and design services to develop a clinic prototype based on Group Health’s “medical home” model. We created a new prototype design for a typical 50,000 sf outpatient, ambulatory, B-occupancy medical clinic utilizing lean design principles for more efficient and effective medical care.

The Puyallup Medical Center is the first clinic built from this prototype and is the first medical facility in the U.S. to earn LEED Gold for Healthcare certification.
