To navigate the complex administrative and design process of integrating seven independent specialty clinics into a single multi-specialty clinic, CollinsWoerman worked closely with Harborview Medical Center leadership to establish a clear vision for the new facility to achieve their goals of integrated care delivery, improved patient and staff safety, improved privacy within a flexible and efficient design.
Through the design process CollinsWoerman lead integration and change management workshops with clinical leaders and staff to create alignment with the vision, remove barriers to change, and build consensus within the organization. 
The critical component of this process was evaluating and testing new workflows through virtual and full-scale mock-ups then memorializing the new processes in the functional program to be used as a tool for onboarding staff. The outcome of this process was a welcoming and flexible clinic space with clear separation of staff workspace and patient care area.
