To navigate the complex administrative and design process of creating a Comprehensive Outpatient Rehab Program (CORP), CollinsWoerman worked closely with Harborview Medical Center leadership to establish a clear vision for the new facility to achieve their goals of integrated care delivery, improved patient and staff safety, improved privacy within a flexible and efficient design.

Through the design process CollinsWoerman lead integration and change management workshops with clinical leaders and staff to create alignment with the vision, remove barriers to change, and build consensus within the organization. The critical component of this process was evaluating and testing new workflows through virtual and full-scale mockups then memorializing the new processes in the functional program to be used as a tool for onboarding staff. The outcome of this process is a welcoming and flexible gym space with private therapy areas, clear separation of staff workspace and patient care areas.
