The Valley Medical Cancer Center is a new outpatient oncology tenant improvement that includes 38 infusion bays, 24 exam rooms, two LINAC treatment rooms, a laboratory, and a compounding pharmacy.

Following a two-year project pause at 100% Design Development, CollinsWoerman led the reactivation and completion of the project. The team facilitated user group engagement to update the design to align with current best practices and the organization’s evolving vision for the facility, coordinated final medical equipment planning, updated the project to comply with current IBC, NFPA, and FGI requirements, developed full construction documents for public bid and guided the project through permitting and Department of Health review.

To compliment the facility, CollinsWoerman also led the renovation and upgrade of the two existing LINAC treatment rooms to accommodate new, higher-powered equipment, including upgraded radiation shielding, electrical and mechanical upgrades, casework and refreshed interior finishes.
