"One key aspect of this firm that drew me to it was the value and responsibilities they provide their interns right from the start. I was deeply interested in experiencing working in a firm that values interior design alongside architecture and how the two can work together to promote an overall unified design. Working with both interior designers and architects has truly broadened my perspective and appreciation for the field.
Working on actual real life projects at the firm has shown me the excitement and energy in creating something as a collaborative team. I had the opportunity to work with interior designers, architects, project managers, vendors, and more, which taught me how each and every project is a team effort and everyone is an essential member. I’ve also learned that communication is key, and so is being responsible and productive with your time. The environment at CollinsWoerman encourages you to work hard, but have fun while doing it. It’s the perfect balance.
Having the chance to be involved in the technical and conceptual stages of the development of a project has certainly helped me grow and has left me feeling nothing but passionate and inspired to continue on with my journey as a designer."
