The largest property developer in China, Vanke selected CollinsWoerman along with Shanghai’s own A+J studio to design their new 3-level, 50,000 SF headquarters offices. Design to occupancy was completed in a record three months’ time. CollinsWoerman provided the workplace design vision and concept, design details and guidance throughout the process.
The new design provides a stylish yet versatile space that can accommodate a range of atmospheres for various times of day – including refreshed workstations layouts, amenities and public areas such as lounges that encourage collaboration, socialization and productivity.
Shedding its previous overly corporate appearance, the revitalized space includes a double-height reception area that rivals the city’s trendiest hotel lobbies. An open-plan layout consolidates and increases workplace efficiency, while maximizing natural light and views. Various types of individual and collaborative workspaces complete with a conference center, meeting rooms of all sizes, touch down, café, pantry, print rooms and other auxiliary spaces provide space for various work modes to co-exist. A significantly scaled green wall improves access to light and fresh air.
The office exhibits multiple uses of a variety of materials, furniture and finishes, color and details for an engaging workplace that’s anything but dull.
