In front of an audience of more than one thousand, NAIOP Washington State presented the 2015 Night of the Stars Awards on Friday, November 6, to outstanding real estate developments and activities in a variety of market types and the individuals who conceived of, took risks, sponsored, supported and made the projects happen.
We are pleased to announce that 47+7 was selected as winner, Judges' Award for Innovation of the Year.
The Daily Journal of Commerce says, "The most innovative project was 47+7, an apartment complex in the University District. The project used a now patented panelized construction method invented by Sustainable Living Innovations, a division of CollinsWoerman. The exterior has a steel “exoskeleton” frame with a concrete slab on the ground floor. Floors two through six are made of 136 floor and wall panels complete with plumbing, electrical and finishes that were built off site and taken to the site for final assembly."
